Networks

There are a range of networks and groups who coordinate activity across mental health and other sectors in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region

Peer Participation in Mental Health Services Network

The Peer Participation in Mental Health Services (PPIMS) network has membership of people with a lived experience with mental health issues (either as a consumer or carer) who want to actively participate in the development, implementation and review of mental health services in the region.

Mental Health Professionals Network (MHPN)

MHPN provides practitioners the opportunity to participate in two interdisciplinary programs: MHPN practitioner networks and the National online professional development program.  There are 30 networks operating in the Brisbane area on a variety of issues. These locally-driven networks aim to promote collaboration between primary mental health care providers.

Peer Participation/Lived Experience Community of Practice

This group hosted by Brook Red provides peer workers/volunteers with an opportunity for some peer reflection and group supervision with other peers.

    My Mental Health

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia, their diversity, histories and knowledge and their continuing connections to land, waterways and culture. We pay our respect to all Australian Indigenous Peoples and their cultures, and to Elders of past, present and future generations.

Brisbane North PHN wishes to acknowledge the experience and expertise of the My Mental Health Steering Committee, delegates of the Peer Participation in Mental Health Services (PPIMS) network and health professionals in developing the My Mental Health Website.
