Alcohol and other drugs directories

Alcohol and other drug use can be complex and difficult to navigate.

Some behaviours are criminalised, creating stigma and discrimination towards people who use drugs.

Substance use combined with mental health concerns increases complexity of required treatment for the person. Additionally, both sectors offer different understandings of what contributes towards ‘recovery’.

The following pages provide information, links and referral information to various Alcohol and Other Drug services and mental health services services in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.

Counselling Online

This service provides online text-based counselling for people concerned about their drinking or drug use, and for people concerned about a family member or friend.
