Emotion Focused Skills training is a program that has been found to help parents, partners and carers learn new ways to support a loved one experiencing an eating disorder. Carers will learn skills to make sense of the difficult emotions that are often brought up during treatment and recovery. This program will empower carers to assume a significant and effective role in improving the mental health of their loved one. This program has been tailored specifically to support parents and carers of a loved one of any age experiencing an eating disorder. Carers must be over the age of 18 to attend. This workshop is not suitable for people currently experiencing an eating disorder.
