Anti-Poverty Week: Everybody's Home (11-17 October)

11 Oct, 2020

Anti-Poverty Week is on from 11-17 October this year, supporting the Australian community to have an increased understanding of poverty, and encouraging positive collective action to end it. Since 2002, organisers have been active every year in the week around the 17 October - the United Nations Day for the Eradication of Poverty.

This year Anti-Poverty Week is partnering with the Everybody’s Home campaign to help ensure all Australians have a safe and decent place to call home, and organisers are encouraging all Australians to take action and focus on positive solutions to end poverty.

We can end homelessness and increase housing affordability. Investing in social housing is both the right and smart thing to do.

To get involved or visit campaign resources including heat maps, and templates, visit the Anti-Poverty Week website.
