Wesley LifeForce free suicide prevention training

Suicide Prevention training can make a real difference and save lives.

This half-day training workshop run by Wesley LifeForce will show you how to identify the signs that someone may be at risk of suicide and provide you with the knowledge and skills to support them to take action and seek help.

This workshop will help you to understand:

  • the factors that may place someone at risk of suicide and what can protect them from suicide
  • the warning signs that someone may be thinking about taking their own life
  • how to safely raise the issue of suicide with someone you are worried about
  • the support and resources available to support a person at risk.

The workshop is open to anyone in the community. We encourage you to come along and learn more about the simple steps you can take to identify and support someone at risk of suicide. You do not need to be a health professional to help someone find the support they need.
