Did you know Bowel Cancer is Australia's second deadlieast cancer? Yet, it is one of the most treatable types of cancer if found early.
"How is this so?" I virtually-hear you ask.
Think of an apple tree. And on that tree is an apple. Inside the apple is a worm, creating a small hole. If detected early and removed, the worm is unable to continue affecting the apple or the health of the tree.
It's the same with people. If bowel cancer is detected early it can be successfully treated, which means patients and their families can continue to enjoy a healthy life.
Visit Bowel Cancer Australia for more information on prevention, early detection, treatment and support.
