NDIS/FYI e-Newsletter

04 July, 2017

Connections Inc. receives funding for the Department of Communities PRI (Participant Readiness Initiative). Part of that involves running a Monthly NDIS/FYI e-Newsletter. It is sent out to hundreds of people across QLD at the end of every month and provides up to date NDIS and Mental Health relevant news, reports, events, Q&A, resources and tools. With content found from a wide range of sources including the NDIA, government departments, news platforms and disability organisations.

Anyone can subscribe, including those with disability, carers, providers, organisational staff, allied health staff, members of churches, community centres, and any businesses providing or looking at providing services under the NDIS.

We are endeavouring to spread the reach of this newsletter to those who might not have a way of receiving regular NDIS information, and/or would like regular updates, especially regarding psychosocial disability. This may be especially beneficial to those in rural communities and/or those that do not have much contact with or knowledge of disability services.

To sign up people can email their wish to do so as well as their name, position and employer (if relevant), and location (Town/City) to: ndis@connectionsinc.org.au.

Also, as we regularly add NDIS provider and participant resources and tools regarding the NDIS and psychosocial disability to each newsletter. If your organisation has something that you think might be relevant please let us know. We may be able to feature it in one of our newsletters.

If you would like more information and have any questions please email ndis@connectionsinc.org.au.
