Has COVID-19 impacted you, your family or community due to job loss, social isolation, family conflict, financial difficulties and health concerns?

SANDBAG has launched a brand-new telephone counselling service, SANDBAG Connect, that community members can access via a free call 1800 number. The number is easy to remember: 1800SANDBAG, that’s 1800 726 322.

SANDBAG Connect – is a generalist phone counselling service that is aiming to support adults,18 years and over, to chat with one of the team to talk about how these impacts might be affecting them. This service will offer a dedicated team of counsellors to provide phone counselling from Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm.

SANDBAG is a community organisation that has been working around Sandgate and Bracken Ridge for over 20 years, and offers services in many areas including domestic violence, disability support, skills and training, social enterprise and our community centre hosts a range of activities that assist people with food and meals, social supports and creates community connection.
