World Mental Health Day 2020: Look after your mental health, Australia

09 Oct, 2020

Now, more than ever, we all need to build and support our mental health and wellbeing. October is Mental Health Month and with Saturday being World Mental Health Day it is a timely reminder to take a moment to look after ourselves and support those around us. Staying connected to each other and to your supports is what we all need to get through this particularly challenging time.

The Look After Your Mental Health Australia initiative encourages Australians to make a promise on how they are going to look after their mental health. The My Mental Health Service Navigation team have promised to help every enquirer, whether it be a consumer, carer, health professional or the Brisbane North PHN commissioned providers, to feel supported with the collective knowledge and resources available within the team. We are a dedicated team who will assist people with lived experience to find their own pathway to quality mental health and wellbeing support during this challenging year.

What promise will you make?
