If you are experiencing an urgent or life-threatening situation, call Triple Zero (000) or visit the emergency department at your local hospital.

If your situation is not an emergency, but cannot wait until normal clinic hours, you may find the services below helpful.

If you’re concerned about your mental health, you can access public mental health services via Metro North Hospital and Health Service—Acute Care Teams. This 24/7 phone line is staffed by qualified mental health professionals who can offer you support and advice.

Physical health care

If it's not an emergency but you think it could be serious, you can get medical advice from a registered nurse. This phone line is available 24/7.

If you need to see a doctor, the first port of call should be your own GP. If you dont have a regular GP or you need support outside of business hours you can find a GP here.

House Call Doctor
If a GP can help, House Call Doctor offers 100% bulk billed, in-home GP visits to Medicare or DVA card holders.
