The Starfish program supports young people up to 18 years who may be experiencing emotional health and wellbeing challenges. Starfish is based in Deception Bay.
Through this program, GPs, psychiatrists or paediatricians have additional options to refer vulnerable and disadvantaged children, aged 0–11 years, for up to 12 psychological therapy sessions. Parents and guardians need to hold a healthcare or pension card for their child to access this service.
