If you’re going through a difficult time and need someone to talk to, there are support services available that are designed to meet your needs.

Youth mental health services provides you friendly support in a safe and confidential environment. They are free or low cost.
Brisbane Youth Service
The service helps young people to find and maintain appropriate housing, address physical and mental health issues and establish successful relationships and support networks.
headspace
headspace supports young people (12–25 years) who are going through a tough time. You'll find a range of support services for your mental health, alcohol and other drug use, work and study and physical health issues. Visit the website to find your nearest centre.
Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS)

The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) specialises in helping infants, children and young people up to the age of 18 who have complex mental health needs. They provide community- and hospital-based services, outreach and telepsychiatry programs, early intervention, forensic and other specialty services.

Redcliffe Area Youth Space

The Youth Space works with young people between the ages of 10 and 25 who present with any issue that may be causing them concern or is impacting them in some way.

Intercept
Intercept provides early intervention and prevention services to young people and their families in the Moreton Bay region. It supports young people with troubles at school, coping with homelessness, living independently, or dealing with a mental health issue or disability.
Open Doors Youth Service
This service supports young people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual, Pansexual, Sistergirl or Brotherboy aged 12–24 across South East Queensland.
Yourtown
The Starfish program supports young people up to 18 years who may be experiencing emotional health and wellbeing challenges. Starfish is based in Deception Bay.

eheadspace
A free online and telephone service that provides counselling and support to young people (12–25 years) and their families.
ReachOut
A service that provides support, tools and tips to help young people with everyday issues and tougher times.
Kids Helpline
Australia’s only free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling for young people aged 5–25.
