National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a national scheme that provides service and support funding for Australians who have a permanent and significant disability.

If you have a psychosocial disability, you may be eligible for the NDIS.

Psychosocial disability is a term used to describe a disability that may arise from a mental health condition.

Who can help you start your plan?

A Local Area Coordinator (LAC) will help you to understand and use your NDIS plan. Your LAC will show you how to use the myplace portal and connect you with support.
